1.Carrie Diaries
(Oct. 25 on The CW)

Where They Left Off: Carrie and Sebastian were reunited, but it was short-lived after she caught him hooking up with Maggie! Walt, however, finds a new love interest in Bennet!
The Biggest OMG Moment: It was totally woah-worthy to learn that Bennet’s roommate is…Stanford! Finally, the prequel catches up with its future self.
What to Expect This Season: Carrie’s BFF Samantha has been cast, and if you know anything about her, you know she’s going to bring the drama, the fun, and the adventure! As for a Maggie-Carrie reconciliation, only time will tell.

2.Vampire Diaries (Oct. 3 on The CW)

Where They Left Off: Where to even begin with this show? Katherine and Elena went head to head, which resulted in Katherine turning human! Elena finally chose Damon, Jeremy is alive thanks to Bonnie, who saved him but became a ghost in the process. Also, Matt and Rebekah are together, and Tyler is coming back for Caroline. Happy endings all around, right?
The Biggest OMG Moment: The biggest surprise was the discovery of another doppleganger…Stefan! And whose doppleganger is he? SILAS. Did you want that to be resolved in the season premiere? Might be hard, considering Silas locked Stefan in a huge metal safe and threw him into the lake.
What to Expect This Season: The preview for Season Five promises pain, revenge, destruction and death. Sounds super fun! The drama never ends, and someone is still after Silas and the cure. There have also been hints about the death of a major character. Who do you think it is?!

3.Modern Family (Sept. 25 on ABC)

Where They Left Off: Phil’s mom passed away, and the audience was moved as the Dunphy family sorted through her last wishes. A trip to court with Gloria led Mitch to quit his job, so he'll be starting next season as a blank canvas!
The Biggest OMG Moment: Modern Family does have many plot twists, but this poignant episode was definitely different than the rest of the season. Of course, the fam dealt with a tragic situation with humor and charm, and they also managed to make it super sweet.
What to Expect This Season: Producers have hinted at the possibility of wedding bells for Cam and Mitch, which would be the funniest wedding ever!

4.Nashville
(Sept. 25 on ABC)

Where They Left Off: There were so many cliffhangers in the season finale! Gunnar proposed to Scarlett in the most aww-worthy moment ever. Juliette wins for the tear-jerker moment of the year: her song to her mother was beautiful. Not a dry eye in any living room!
The Biggest OMG Moment: Rayna and Deacon got in a serious car accident after he freaked out about the news that he's Maddie’s father. There’s no way that they got out unscathed—if they survive physically, their relationship is going to need some serious CPR.
What to Expect This Season: After writers deal with the car crash, they plan to jump a few weeks and delve into more love interests and a heightened rivalry between Juliette and Rayna. Can’t wait!

5.The Voice
(Sept. 23 on NBC)

Where They Left Off: Blake was rooting for his contestants, The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbery, while Usher cheered on his indie singer, Michelle Chamuel. The Swon Brothers took third, and Michelle was runner-up, which means…
The Biggest OMG Moment: Danielle won! Check out her exclusive video for Seventeen!
What to Expect This Season: Don’t expect to see Shakira or Usher, unfortunately. The two will be replaced by previous hosts Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. Here’s hoping Adam Levine’s wedding planning doesn't keep him off the judges' panel!

6.Glee (Sept. 26 on Fox)

Where They Left Off: Brittany was accepted early to MIT, got back with Santana, and said goodbye to the Gleeks. It turns out that Unique has been “Katie” all along, but didn’t want Ryder to know… and he didn’t take it so well. The reunited Emma and Will renewed their vows with a choir room wedding that only Glee could pull off. To top it all off, New Directions won Regionals!
The Biggest OMG Moment: Everyone is waiting to see what happens with Rachel’s epic callback for a Broadway lead.
What to Expect This Season: This show is going to have a very, very tough start. The producers plan to deal with Cory Monteith’s death almost immediately, and a tribute is planned early on in the season. Additionally, fans are left expecting Blaine and Kurt to make some big decisions about whether or not they will say “I do.”
